Danshuis Station Zuid is a producer of contemporary dance performances for the Dutch theatres as well as theatres abroad, as was formulated in its core task. Not as a dance company but as an artistic hub where extraordinary dance talents and choreographers can meet their audiences. We engage them per production based on their high artistic quality, their innovative drive, and also on their ability to draw new audience groups. And so our touring schedule is always filled with new premieres to guarantee new and exclusive adventures in dance. Dance talent from the Dutch South will be favoured. But our embedding in the European Dance Network allows Danshuis Station Zuid to excel on an international level as well. Exchange and international inspiration are leading. This yields a touring schedule filled with widely differing productions, all in compliance with the high artistic standard of our Dance House.
