Dance Island, Temptation in the Foyer

Our beautifully designed Mini Dance Island is an interactive, cultural window-display for dance. It can be assembled in a range of different surprising and inviting set ups in the foyer of a theatre or in other spaces around cultural events. The island will travel with the performance or the event. Its purpose is to tempt visitors before, during (intermission) and after the performances with all kinds of dance-related forms of expression.

A Flexible Presentation

Our Dance Island can be completely adapted to the dimensions of its surroundings. It can be set up for passive as well as active dance presentations, related activities, sales activities (such as merchandise for dance or similar performances). It can offer pure dance experiences: ‘The Moving Cinema’ for example, [Link] an online dance movie theatre; the ‘SoundSpot’ (where visitors can for example listen to the soundscape of a performance); and the ‘Moofit Show-Boxes’ (with short, comical dance films). These and other possibilities are all optional add-ons to the island that we will assemble in consultation with you.
