Avondrood
The Dansz foundation celebrates its 25th anniversary and therefore presents Avondrood, a dance performance that consists of choreographies on 4 different locations in Zeeland. The performances are made both by the foundation's choreographers and guest choreographers. One of them is Itamar Serussi Sahar.
Vieze Vis
Itamar (Israel, 1978) has become 'artist in development' at Danshuis Station Zuid in februari 2009. On the occasion of the anniversary evening of the Dansz foundation, he created Vieze Vis. For this piece he was inspired by the sculpture Vis that can be seen in front of the ballet studio of the Dansz foundation.
The choreographers that have been cooperating to create Avondrood have been entirely free to make their own choices during their creative proces, their choice of music, their choice of subject and their style of dancing. Rob Maaskant, music- and sound artist, is the link of the evening. He will connect the different choreographies.
The première will be on sunday the 1st of november at 14u30 in the Grote Kerk in Veere. Reservations can be made on the website www.dansz.nl. Entry tickets can also be purchased at the church.
